Artist: Memphis MinnieTracks :
Album name: Ain't Nothin but the Blues
- Jo Lovis Strut
Have you ever been amazed to learn the ORIGIN of a song that was later re-recorded?
For instance, I heard an OLD cut of "When the Levee Breaks" which I later found was written and recorded in 1929!!! It was done by Kansas Joe McCoy and Memphis Minnie in a VERY early blues style, and of course, made MUCH more famous by Led Zep.
Can you name any other similar examples?
